Hi All,

I am trying to connect the Heathkit SB-610 monitor scope to monitor received signals and am encountering a problem (BTW, transmit monitoring works great)

Anyway, according to the SB-610 manual, it is recommended to connect a 1 pf capacitor to the plate of the last IF amplifier and the other side of that to one of the spare jacks on the back of my SB-101.

I did this part and doscovered a SEVERE reduction in sensitivity (low receive).  Heathkit manual (SB-610) also speaks of trying a very slightly higher capacitance if needed.

I did some troubleshooting and discovered that ALMOST anything well affect this tube's output adversely.
BTW, I only had a 1 pf disc capacitor  - nod not have a mica cap.

Anyone encounter any similate issues please share the solution.

Thanks
  I am wondering
