SB-101 AVC Hang & Slow Receive recovery

Hi All,
 
   I have an SB-101 that works well.  One exception is the fact that after somewhat long transmit the receive will recover slowly and the S-Meter will slowly drop to normal.
 
   I have done numerous things including the recommendations in the Service Bulletins (replacing diodes, checking resistances, checking voltages, replacing tubes and etc. ). Also have read others' postings and tried those things too.
 
   I have put a volt meter on the AVC line and can see the slow decay.  Also, on LSB it seems to be more apparent than on USB. No problem if using Tune or CW however.
 
  I am wondering if anyone has had any input, experience, or thoughts on this somewhat curious problem.
