Question for the experts at Heathkit about not so ancient Heathkit radio

I looked up the GR-28, right below is the GR-48 with an avacado green
plastic cabinet. Solid State AM-FM (5 x 10 x 5 inches) slide-rule dial,
priced at $41.95 5 lbs page 15 1974 summer catalog.
