SB-104/HW-104 extender cards

I have been toying with the idea of coming up with a SB-104 PC Board
Extender assembly. It could be the same procedure as the one I did recently for
the HR-1680
<http://sites.google.com/site/wa2cky/Home/hr1680-extender>
but I am thinking more along the lines of a full blown extender using a
printed circuit board.

I am still looking for inexpensive sources for
the fabricated board (no, I do want to make the board myself!) as well
as other parts. At this time, it does not look like this will be low
cost - unfortunately. My guesstimate is that, based on the parts I see
now, the cost will run somewhat north of $50.

Since I don't have a SB-104, I have a few questions and requests.

#1: Are there many folks out there that would like one?

#2: If so, can one of you who is interested and who has a SB-104 (or,
I imagine, a HW-104) partner with me and provide me, on loan, a SB-104
board - it doesn't have to work - just need the board for dimensions,
etc.
