hp23 pwr supply problems....

I have an HP23 that blew one rectifier in the four-rectifier full wave 
bridge....I have my manual at my 2nd home three hundred miles away...can 
anyone tell me what the part number is for that diode?  Or a suitable 
replacement?  Would an 1N4007 work?
