[Heathkit] tubes in the HW101 - use the 6AH6

Hi Ken
 
I would like to know why Heathkit chose valves like the 6AU6/6HS6 for RF  
stages with AGC as they are sharp cut-off devices, not normally used  in AGC 
environments. Do you know if anyone has tried a remote cutoff valve  instead in 
the HW/SB series?
