SB-10x tuning knob question...

Hi, gang!

 

Has anyone ever tried to make a weighted tuning knob for the SB-100-102
range? When I had Collins gear, you could fill the knob cavity with lead
shot mixed with glue, but the Heath knobs have that aluminum skirt on them.

 

Would be nice to have a weighted knob for some better tuning "feel". Anyone
have an idea on this?
