SB-634 Question!!

Hi All
 
Just dug out a manual on the SB634 - it uses a clock IC and the overall  
accuracy is dependant on the local mains frequency. The IC is fed with a  
filtered (but not smoothed) half wave rectified supply from the secondary of the 
 mains transformer.
