SB-634 Question!!

If the SB634 uses an IC keyed to the power line frequency, then the most
likely cause for the clock running
fast is power spikes. This happens typically when an appliance which is
inductive is on the same line. When the appliance is turned on or off there
is a spike. A surge protector would probably help. If you have technical
skills you could probably solder-in an MOV.

In the US, the power line frequency is very accurate over time.
Instantaneously it may be off a bit, but over time it is spot on 60HZ.
