More on the 634

[The Heathkit Junkie]

Many years ago, I was told by another "Greenie" that Heathkit had placed
a number of clock chips in the very early kits with a white top. He told
me to stay away from buying them.

This person worked at Heathkit.

Just passing this on as I have no idea what the problem was. Have seen a
few with the white chip. 

Anyone know anything about this??
