[Heath] SB-610 needs help

I have a very fine condition scope that I replaced the P.S. caps in 
some time ago but have used it very little.

I am now using it frequently with my HW-100 and I noticed that the 
FOCUS and the VERT GAIN must be set to max and still the gain is 
insufficient (mostly on receive). FOCUS is fine at that setting but 
would like to get it focused with the pot set at half way.

The rig I.F. tap is using a 5pf cap for the coax to the 610. I may 
have to increase the cap value but do not want to load down the I.F. 
too much. While I am at it, are there any mods for the 610?
