[Heath] 3 Watt Resistors

You might consider using three 150 ohm 1 watt resistors in parallel.
Mouser.com has them in stock - not cheap.  If you specify 1st class mail
shipping, you can save on shipping also.  Why do you need carbon
composition?   Can't you use carbon film or metal film?  Carbon film
resistors are a lot cheaper (47 or 51 or 56 ohm/3w are 52 cents each).
