The IC is long obsolete, but the NTE equivalent still exists: Use NTE953 (or ECG953).  



The internal reference voltage of the NTE equivalent may be different, so you might have
to tweak the divider resistors to revert back to the same output voltage as the original.

circuit failed.  Does anyone still have this regulator IC?
