Hi Sandy

These couplers are usually over-tightened and they are not flexible so the
strains on them over the years will cause fractures. If you can get any
acrylic pr Perspex rod of the correct outer diameter and know someone with a
small model makers lathe they are very easy to make. A small metal bush
tightly fitted over each end with a clearance hole for the grub screw would
significantly improve the strength.

You may be able to repair your broken one if you can get any acrylic glue.
That is easily available in the UK made by Revell but following an enquiry
of mine, the manufacturer's US distributor confirmed that they do not
import it into the States and our post office will not accept it in the post.
Anyone visiting the UK may be able to take a 25g tube back with them in
their hold luggage?

Hi, folks,

Darn it, just had to happen...the plastic shaft coupler for the Tune
control on my SB-102 is shot. I need another one that isn't cracked or broken
around the setscrew threads. Does anyone on the List have one I could buy?
Don't need the setscrews (I saved the old ones, HI) but don't mind if they're
there!

Thanks, guys! 73,
