Jim...Not exactly...Each "S unit" is 6 db...Each time you double power you gain 
3 db...Therefore, to increase the signal by 1 "S-unit" would require increasing 
power by a factor of 4...100 watts to 400 watts..Another S-Unit, 1600 watts and 
and yet another 6400 watts....
