[Heath] Another question...8032

I have several NIB 8032 tubes here. 8, to be exact. I am thinking that the 8032 is nothing
more than a 6146A with a 12.6 volt filament.

Since it can be, at times, difficult to find new 6146As for use in our HW-101s and SB gear, I
am thinking that by paralleling the filament connections at the tube sockets, one could sub
the 8032 for the 6146A without unbalancing the filament string.

8032s can be found, NIB, for very little money. I just got 8 of them for $8 each, which I
thought was fair.

I believe Motorola used 8032s in some of their VHF gear, so someone here should have
had experience with them.

Glenn? Anyone?
