Doug...Before re lighting it, check diodes D1 D2 D3 D4 for shorts and proper 
polarity....Also check Caps C-39 C-40, C-41 and C-42 for correct  polarity and 
quality (not shorted) If they check out, remove the wires from R-34 and R-35 
going to the various circuits so the power supply is isolated.  Replace R-35 & 
R-34 then light it up to see if the power supply will function properly..You'll need a VOM or VTVM to do this...BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!
