[Heath] AM power vs PEP

An AM signal, when modulated 100%,  has a PEP level of 4* carrier 
power..50% in the carrier and 25% in each sideband when modulated 
100%...Hence a 125 watt AM carrier will have a PEP of 500 watts when 
modulated 100%.
