Jerry...I think we all are saying the same thing...The SB-200 (and 
similar amps) were not designed to be used in manner we are talking 
about however It can be done if done carefully. In some cases it's not 
worth the effort..or the risk.

And for the record, I acknowledge your "Old Fart" seniority..You have me 
by two years...I was licensed 1957 :0)
