Daniel,
You can find the documents describing traffic distribution on
802.3ad trunks at

http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/junos54/swconfig54-interfaces/h
tml/interfaces-ethernet-config27.html

And,

http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/junos50/swconfig50-routing/html
/routing-generic-config10.html

Essentially, the 802.3ad load balancing uses the same algorithm=20
used for per-packet load balancing, which is based on traffic flows.

Cheers,
Harshit

Subject: [j-nsp] M20 Aggregated Interface

Hello All,

I configured one aggregated interface (802.3ad trunk) using 2
Fast Ethernet ports between the Juniper M20 and the Alteon ACE 180
switch.=20

The alteon switch is performing the load balance equally in both
links, but the juniper is using mainly one interface. Both links are
working fine, but i am in doubt about how the load is distributed.=20

Anybody know how the Juniper performs the traffic distribution
over 802.3ad trunks?

Daniel
