tnp.sntpd is a Juniper-private implementation of ntp across the
internal PFE-to-RE link, and is used by the PFE components to
get and maintain their own sense of time. The -j is a private-
to-Juniper switch.
In addition to having 127.0.0.1 configured on the lo0 interface,
you should also have the management Ethernet port fxp0 configured
with at least one non-martian address, and fxp0 should be in an
Up state.
