[j-nsp] type 1 or type 2 slot???

There are different RE models, but I have not heard the term "slot" used
in conjunction with them.

The RE1 originally shipped with the M40. But, the M40 also supports
"special" LS-12- equipped versions of the RE2 and RE3 as well. 

The current RE version for the M40 is the RE-M40-600-2048. This is an
RE3 (600 MHz with 2 GM ram) that has the M40's "special" LS-120
removable drive.

I do not suppose the reseller is referring to a PCMCIA Type I vs Type II
slot, as the M40 RE does not have a PCMCIA slot.
