Not such much useful for regular routing (pretty darn useless in fact, you 
couldn't make a best path decision which is different from your uplink 
device's forwarding table anyways) as it is for external analysis tools.

I'll agree with you that it would be slightly tricky to implement (you 
would have to look at some external info like next-hop, and keep your own 
state, to determine if it is a new nlri or a replacement), but it sure as 
hell beats the current options like snmp and cli for doing data 
collection.
