Hi,
I guess you are interested for M5 only. M5 is having small buttons
numbered as 0/0, 0/1, 0/2, 0/3. These individual buttons are for
corresponding PICs.
You need to first press the desired button for some time which will make
corresponding PIC offline. Then you can remove the PIC from FPC slot.
If you want to replace or insert a new PIC, first insert the PIC in a
empty slot and then press the small buttons for some time. It will bring
the PIC online.
This is the safe way to swap the PIC, while router is up and running.
This story is different for M20 and M40. There you need to make FPC
offline to remove or replace a PIC.
