Hello,

i just saw one of my M20's going down the drain, after it rebooted i
checked the logs and found:

Jul 31 08:44:37 edge savecore: Router crashed.....
Jul 31 08:44:37 edge syslogd: sendto: No route to host
Jul 31 08:44:37 edge savecore: reboot after panic: NMI indicates
hardware failure
Jul 31 08:44:37 edge savecore: system went down at Sat Jul 31 08:40:38
2004
Jul 31 08:44:37 edge savecore: Selective dump will be saved now
Jul 31 08:44:37 edge savecore: /var/crash/bounds: No such file or
directory
Jul 31 08:45:37 edge savecore: currently booted kernel copied
Jul 31 08:45:37 edge savecore: writing kernel to /var/crash/kernel.0

The M20 when back ran fine, no alarms, nothing. Just those messages
above. Any ideas?

Another problem which might be related to this one:
Jul 31 09:14:51  edge rpd[2490]: bgp_nexthop_sanity: peer x.x.x.x
(External AS XXXXX) next hop y.y.y.y unexpectedly remote, ignoring
routes in this update

I am getting this error 4 times every 10 seconds, this is probably
because we have 2 BGP sessions on different routers with different AS'es
from the same Carrier on one line.

Carrier AS 3 ----> AS 1
             ----> AS 2

Is there any way to silence this message?

Regards,
Jonas
