 I've got no ideas what caused the NMI that crashed the router in the
 first place. Still, you can always tell JUNOS (as it's FreeBSD) not
 to crash when NMI occurs, if you're brave enogh to do so:

 # sysctl machdep.panic_on_nmi=0


 It would be better if the real cause of the NMI was found, though.
