[j-nsp] routing engine goes away

I don't recall any specific issues with RSVP and LDP running at the
same time on an M20. I have several M20's doing just that without any
issue. The fact that the routing subsystem is not responding does tell
me that the rpd process is very busy doing _something_. Are you able
to get any additional information from the syslog? Any process
thrashing/scheduler slips or other nasty error messages popping up?

My first recommendation would be to upgrade your JUNOS to a more
recent version. 5.3 has been EOL for a long time now.

After the upgrade, if you're still seeing issues then contact JTAC to
have the issue looked at more closely.
