There are several hub & spoke scenarios.

a) mpls forwarding torwards HUB, w/ hub advertising a (or several)
aggregate route (i.e. not readvertising dynamically learned routes).

b) IP forwarding torwards HUB, w/ hub advertising aggregate route.

c) HUB needs to be able to reflect back spoke routes (ip or mpls
forwarding).

The latter requires 2 logical interfaces between Hub and PE. a) can be
achieved w/ a single interface just by controlling route targets. b)
can be achieved w/ a little bit of trickery.

Which scenario do you care about ?
