[j-nsp] ERX - Radius - prepaid services

I was confused at some point that SDX is actually the radius and it just
introduces new configurations to do the prepaid services, but now i have in
mind that they are separated,

SDX + Merit Radius is what we currently use, we dont use the wholesale
customers provisioning, only the BoD features

What we would like to do is save the price of the license of the SDX and do
the BoD service and prepaid charging with a cheap or opensource
alternatives, so does anyone have any suggestions ?
