Hi,

Actually you are going to want to take a look at Translational Cross 
Connect (TCC).  CCC has a Layer 2 switching mechanism but the interfaces 
must be of the same type.  With TCC, you can perform a cross-connect 
between two different encapsulations.  The only thing that TCC does is 
swap the Layer 2 headers, nothing more.  The only drawback is that TCC 
is supported for IPv4 only, so if you're running any other higher layer 
protocol you're not going to be able to use this approach.  Cheers,
