Hello,
I am surprised I can see a unusual high load on a M7i.
The router is running 7.1R1.3
last pid: 75700; load averages: 0.72, 0.71, 0.67
up
75+04:41:45 18:58:30
48 processes: 1 running, 47 sleeping
CPU states: 37.0% user, 0.0% nice, 6.2% system, 0.4% interrupt, 56.4%
idle
Mem: 219M Active, 106M Inact, 63M Wired, 4K Cache, 60M Buf, 110M Free
Swap: 512M Total, 512M Free
PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND
2550 root 2 0 154M 152M kqread 52.9H 31.59% 31.59% rpd
2521 root 2 0 9552K 2608K select 58.8H 2.25% 2.25% chassisd
75700 exa 29 0 21772K 1172K RUN 0:00 3.50% 0.63% top
In order to make sure nothing goes bad
* I disabled sampling
* disabled all bgp logging
rpd can take more than 50% of the CPU and from my understanding of what
it does it should not !
Last time I checked the load was around 0.1 so I am wondering if I
should investigate the matter further.
Thanks you.
Thomas
