Would this help at all (though probably not a lot :-[)
http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/junos/junos73/junoscript73-ref-config/html/summary-config2040.html
<smart-optimize-timer>-Path optimization interval after a link traversed by the path goes down.
Cheers
Alex

Subject: [j-nsp] LSP SmartOptimizeTimer ?
Guys,
after upgrading from 6.4 to 7.2, I noticed a new timer in the LSPs:
jfl at BB2.DIJ> show mpls lsp extensive
Ingress LSP: 39 sessions
212.129.x.x
From: 212.129.x.x, State: Up, ActiveRoute: 0, LSPname: BB2.DIJ-BB1.PAR
ActivePath: (primary)
LoadBalance: Random
Autobandwidth
AdjustTimer: 86400 secs
Max AvgBW util: 0bps, Bandwidth Adjustment in 70487 second(s).
Encoding type: Packet, Switching type: Packet, GPID: IPv4
*Primary State: Up
SmartOptimizeTimer: 180
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Anyone has a clue of what this one is ? I could not find any documentation
on that one.
Regards.
Jerome.
