Eric,
Have you tried using a higher buffer space? I understand that a SH queue
will use 100% of the transmit rate, but this is not true for buffer space,
it will use the configured value. So if you set this to 5% and set a higher
transmit rate, which takes away from the other high priority queues (based
on the info Harry gave from the thread) I will think this queue does not
have enough buffer space to meet your transmit rate demands and packets are
dropped. I will recommend raising the buffer percentage, and see if the
drops still occur.
