Are you trying to ping the J2300? Make sure you have 127.0.0.1 configure on
the loopback.

Subject: [j-nsp] ping mpls l3vpn in an heterogeneous network
Hi,
I installed a lab with 3 routers, 1 J2300 and 2 Cisco 3640, I configure the
routers to create a l3vpn. After many tests using the ping
routing-instance, I found that the command I must use is ping mpls, but I
try to use this command and there was no reply... I connect a computer to
the J2300 Network and try to ping the Cisco's Network (the l3vpn) and
everything works fine...
Any idea to how to debug or test the behavior of an l3vpn heterogeneous
network?
Thank you
Jose Sanchez
