Dear Eric,

Thanks for your feedback. It does not look like there are any 
'apply-groups' configurations on the interface.

show configuration interfaces e1-0/2/7 | display inheritance
description "PPP E1#1 interface";
clocking internal;
encapsulation ppp;
e1-options {
     framing unframed;
     fcs 16;
}
