Assuming you're not defining 'strict' LSP paths (ie. forcing the
LSP to follow a certain path), it should attempt to re-establish via
an alternative path immediately. In fact, if you have enabled
fast-reroute (and all points along the LSP support it), it will have
done so in advance, and will have an alternative path immediately
available for the broken segment of the LSP until the LSP can be fully
resignalled end-to-end.
