Hi,
thats not true in this cause. jbundle is for minor updates (8.1 to 8.2
for example or 8.1R1 to 8.1R2 etc..).
However for major upgrades jinstall is the way to go.
I have no idea what went wrong in this case. I suggest you do a clean
reinstall via CF/PCMCIA cards and copy over your old config (you do
backups, right?).
