[j-nsp] Problem with boot after JunOS upgrade (7.5 -> 8.1R3.3)

Hi Yevgeniy,

Actually, the jbundle image should not be used for an upgrade. The release
notes state this at the beginning of the instructions for the upgrade on
M-Series devices:

"When upgrading or downgrading the JUNOS software, always use the jinstall
package. Use other packages (such as the jbundle package) only when so
instructed by a Juniper Networks support representative."

That's from
http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/junos/junos81/rn-sw-81/rn-upgrade.h
tml#rn-upgrade.

Basically, you should always use the jinstall package for any upgrade, as
the release notes say. You can use the jbundle for some specific things,
like adding SSH to a router that was previously installed with worldwide
code, but in this case you used the correct commands.

>From the boot messages it seems that the router isn't able to find the JUNOS
image on the compactflash. The installation somehow wasn't completely
successful.

Humor me, if you will, and type:

/boot/loader

... at that "boot:" prompt. Copy in here whatever it says if the unit
doesn't come up.

Regards,
Tim
