You are right. With encapsulation "ethernet-ccc" you have to use unit 0. 
You have to use unit from 512 to 4095 with encapsulation "vlan-ccc".

The route-distinguisher must be different on each PE. A PE know where it 
must send traffic with this command :

vrf-target target:65102:100;
