Try something like:

=================================================
set system syslog file Special-Events daemon info
set system syslog file Special-Events match "(.*EVENT
UpDown.*->.*)|(.*bgp.*)|(.*LDP.*)|(.*OSPF.*);"
=================================================

so you can do:

show log Special-Events

or

monitor start Special-Events
