[j-nsp] how to set burstable in juniper router

Hello,

its easy...just apply a filter to the interface:

ge-0/0/0 
    unit 0 {
          family inet {
          filter {
                output burst-50mbit;
            }


the filter should look like:

# show firewall filter burst-50mbit
term term1 {
        from {
            address {
                   192.168.0.0/24;
                    }
        }
        then {
            policer police-50m;
            accept;



and the policer:

# show firewall policer
policer police-50m {
    if-exceeding {
        bandwidth-limit 50m;
        burst-size-limit 100k;
    }
    then discard;
}
