I guess if it's a demo unit then it probably won't have anything
especially sensitive but in all other cases, why not wipe (dd
from /dev/zero),reformat and reimage?  That's certainly something I'd do
before say putting it up for sale on ebay.

Nuke the site from orbit... it's the only way to be sure.
