[j-nsp] Accessing M20 Junos 7.0R2 as root user

What are the commands to enter as root user at login on Juniper M20 Junos
7.0R2.7? 

We have tried entering root#, root at cli, root@%, root@% cli, root# cli, and
others but when entering any of these commands we immediately are present
with requirement for password. Please let me know how to log in as root
user, by pass the password and obtain show chassis hardware.
