Hi Tony,
Thanks for the response.  Can you show me where it is treating this like a p2p link?  When I configure point-to-point on the Juniper, the adjacency just drops and doesn't come up at all.  Without 'point-to-point', the adjacency "comes up".  My biggest question is why it would suddenly work when configuring a simple traceoption.  I've been able to get it to work sporadically, but whatever I end up changing, when I wipe the config and re-do it, I can't replicate the working config, which leads me to believe it's some sort of bug.
