Have no experience with JUNOSe, but if the code is anything
like the spec., ST- and MT-configured routers will have a
hard time 'sync'ing up' on the same wire.
You either have ST both ways, or MT both ways (and I know
not of any implementation which allows you to turn this off
per-interface)
Surprised, though, that JUNOSe won't do MT.
