I received a note off-line suggesting the "show chassis environment pem"
command. It will work on the SRX platform:

show chassis environment pem node 0
node0:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
PEM 0 status:
   State Online
   Temperature OK 35 degrees C / 95 degrees F
   AC Input: OK 120 Volts
DC Output Voltage Current Power Load
                           12 24 288 24
PEM 1 status:
   State Online
   Temperature OK 31 degrees C / 87 degrees F
   AC Input: OK 118 Volts
DC Output Voltage Current Power Load
                           12 19 228 19

However, it does not give you any detail as to how much power is dedicated
to a line card or how much each line card draws. Surely, there must be a
way to figure that out. How else does the SRX know if it can bring a new
component on-line?
