In order to do things like facility protection or Option C Inter-AS VPN/VPLS
(sometimes it's not bad to stick it right to the core, say, in case of a
merge), LSR must be able to do several lookups in one cycle (yes,
fixed-length and withing a comparatively small table) and push/pop
additional labels. Do you think the cheap ASICs can do that?

Don't want to argue against 'label switching is easy', just want to know
opinions on this :)
