Hi all,
Please excuse my ignorance, but having just got into junos I've
noticed on a traceroute today this:
traceroute to xx.xx.xx.xx (xx.xx.xx.xx), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
1 xx.xx.xx.xx (xx.xx.xx.xx) 2.504 ms 5.024 ms 2.937 ms
2 xx.xx.xx.xx (xx.xx.xx.xx) 15.254 ms 15.300 ms 15.887 ms
3 lonap-gw2.plus.net (193.203.5.155) 15.076 ms 15.103 ms 16.043 ms
4 te-9-1.ptw-gw02.plus.net (212.159.1.19) 15.844 ms 16.082 ms 15.642 ms
MPLS Label=9814 CoS=0 TTL=1 S=1
5 link6-central10.ptw-ag01.plus.net (84.93.248.11) 20.964 ms
32.774 ms 55.808 ms
6 * * *
7 * * *
8 * * *
Now I've never seen:
MPLS Label=9814 CoS=0 TTL=1 S=1
on a traceroute before (being new to MPLS too :-) ) and presume it's
showing because of the junos traceroute, whereas I don't see it from
the same
network on a linux box?
My other question is should this actually show and not be remove by
the egress LER?
Thanks,
Gavin.
