Hi All,

I am trying to revive an old M10 router. I can login through single user
mode, followed this guide line:

http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/juniper-nsp/2006-March/006272.html

./mount.jkernel
./mount.jdocs
./mount.jroute

# mount
/dev/ad0s1a on / (ufs, local, read-only)
devfs on dummy_mount (devfs, local)
devfs on /dev/ (devfs, local, noatime, noexec, read-only)
/dev/vn0 on /packages/mnt/jbase (cd9660, local, noatime, read-only)
devfs on /dev/ (devfs, local, noatime, noexec, read-only)
/dev/vn1 on /packages/mnt/jkernel-5.7R1.2 (cd9660, local, noatime,
read-only)
/dev/vn2 on /packages/mnt/jdocs-5.7R1.2 (cd9660, local, noatime, read-only)
/dev/vn3 on /packages/mnt/jpfe-M10-5.7R1.2 (cd9660, local, noatime,
read-only)
/dev/vn4 on /packages/mnt/jroute-5.7R1.2 (cd9660, local, noatime, read-only)

#cd /usr/libexec/ui
#ls
clear-log killall package validate-config
format-floppy logout-user recovery-mode xml-mode
help-syslog.sh ntp-date show-support
# ./recovery-mode

Then followed this procedure to install media on the PC card or CF disk:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/nsp/juniper/17909

But no luck, any suggestions on rebuilding /var.

Are there any suggestions on how to properly burn the junos on the CF
card and make it bootable ?

Thanks
-Azher
