For instance, were you aware that the MX5/MX10/MX40/MX80 routers support 100G interfaces?

H-QoS is supported on the MICs, because these connect to the "Q" side of
the switching ASIC. It is *not* supported on the builtin 10G ports (not
relevant to the MX5 in any case).

The MX5-T-AC and the MX5-T-DC bundles explicitly include a MIC-3D-20GE-SFP
MIC and a S-MX80-Q per-VLAN queuing license.

Agree with your general complaint about the difficulty of finding whether
a particular feature is supported or not...
